The Guard is the visual base of the fall band program.
In the late 80's the Guard first began to be recognized
as an integral part of the marching program. Spinning flags of all sizes, weapons, & now including body, the Guard has earned many Superior & BIC contest ratings.
Debuting in Fall 2006 the dance & guard units have been merged to form one progressive performing auxiliary unit.

The Guard performs with the Oak Grove HS Marching Band...
all are musicians in the Symphonic or Concert Bands.
